Lesson Options

Group Swim Lessons

Group Swim Lessons will be taught in four sessions. Each session is for eight days
(Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) according to the posted schedule. In the event of rain, lessons will be rescheduled. All participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. 

Lessons run 30-45 minutes long.
Group lessons cost $60 for members and $75 for non-members. 
Full payment must be made at the time of sign-up and before the registration deadlines, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Registrations will not be accepted online or at the door the day of class. Registration for all classes end on the Friday the week before the session.
Classes must have 2 or more swimmers to be held, otherwise the class will be canceled.
No refunds will be issued for missed classes.

Private Swim Lessons

Private lessons are scheduled upon request. Lessons are scheduled based upon the instructors schedule. In the event of rain, lessons will be rescheduled. All participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.

Lessons run 30-60 minutes long depending on age. See Manager/Instructor for details.
Cost for private lessons are $30 per half-hour.

Swim Lesson Descriptions 

Mommy and Me
This is for infants and parents together learning to become comfortable in the water. Activities include:
 
  • Putting face in the water
  • Becoming comfortable in the water
  • Playing simple water games
  • Putting head under the water with support
  • Blowing bubbles
  • Floating on their back and stomach with assistance

Level I: Intro to Swimming for Preschoolers
This is for non-swimmers between the ages of 3 and 4 years old. In these classes swimmers will learn the basic fundamentals to swimming. These include:
 
  • Face in the water
  • Putting head under the water
  • Blowing bubbles
  • Learning to kick on their stomach and back
  • Retrieving objects from the pool bottom
  • Floating on their back and stomach with assistance

Level I: Intro to Swimming
This is for non-swimmers between the ages of 5 years old and up. In these classes swimmers will learn the basic fundamentals to swimming. These include:

Level II: Beginning Swimming
For swimmers who have successfully completed Level I. Swimmers must be able to preform the skills listed above. Here swimmers will learn more advance techniques such as:
 
  • Learn basics of freestyle and backstroke
  • Jumping into deep water
  • Floating without assistance
  • Becoming comfortable with deeper water

Level II: Beginning Swimming for "Little Gators"
For swimmers inspiring to join the swim team next summer this class will focus on building stamina and developing skills needed to swim the full length of the pool. For swimmers who have successfully completed Level I. Swimmers will learn more advance techniques such as:
 
  • Learn basics of freestyle and backstroke
  • Jumping into deep water
  • Floating without assistance
  • Becoming comfortable with deeper water
  • Swim the full length of the pool

Level III: Stroke Readiness
For swimmers who have successfully completed Level II. These classes are for even more advance swimmers who are already comfortable with the water and deeper water. Techniques taught include:

  • Developing strokes
  • Diving
  • Swimming in deep water
  • Treading water
  • Bobbing and gliding skills

All swim lessons must be purchased online. No checks or cash. To purchase a swim lesson, using a credit card of your choice, please complete the online registration process below. Your confirmation will be your credit card receipt.
