The Crozet Gators Swim Team is one of 16 summer teams represented in the Jefferson Swim League (JSL). The JSL is a voluntary, non-profit organization which is composed of over 2500 summer swimmers participating in 3 divisions. CGST consists of approximately 230 swimmers between the ages of 5 to 18 and competes among the division one teams during the season and against all 16 teams for the championship meet.
CGST is a volunteer parent run organization which relies on the active participation of parents, swimmers and coaches to be successful. All practices are held at the Claudius Crozet Park Pool, an 8 lane competitive pool built in 1997. Practices are held daily, Monday thru Friday and meets are held on Wednesday evenings.
