All swimmers must provide their own goggles and wear them to scheduled practices and meets.  Caps are required for long hair (that can reach eyes or neck) for boys and girls.  Latex caps are free to all swimmers.  Silicone caps may be purchased at Rivanna Gear and Apparel (see team apparel page).

The pool is closed to the general public and swim team families during after-school and morning swim team practices.  The pool is open to the general public during afternoon practices, with the swim team having limited pool lanes.  All swim team families who wish to swim during public pool hours must purchase a season or daily pass.  All pool rules remain in effect during swim team practices.
