Claudius Crozet Pool is owned and operated by Claudius Crozet Park, Inc.
A Daily Pass or a Season Pass is required for admission to the Crozet Pool. Swim Team members & those taking swim lessons may only use the pool during swim team practices, meets, & activities or swim lessons unless a Daily or Season Pass has been purchased.
Wristbands will be handed out to & must be put on by all patrons before entrance to the pool area. They will be worn on the wrist or, if extenuating circumstances arise, on the shoulder strap of the bathing suit at the approval of the Pool Manager.
Obey the lifeguards and pool staff directions and requests. Do not engage the guards in unnecessary conversation while they are on duty in any of the guard stands.
NO children under 12 years of age will be allowed on the pool grounds without supervision by a parent or guardian (age 16 or older) or as approved the Pool Manager.
The wading pool is intended for children 5 years of age and younger. Parents should monitor their children while they are in the wading pool area and the zero depth area. Diapered children are not allowed in the pool. Special swimming diapers may be purchased at the concession stand. Parents should monitor their children’s bathroom needs. Children are not allowed to use the wading pool during hourly breaks, swim team practices, or off hour swim lessons.
Toys, noodles, and floatation devices are permitted as long as they are used appropriately and safely. Only small inflatable floating devices/balls are allowed in the pool and are not allowed beyond the 5 feet water depth. Children with water wings must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Defecating or urinating in the pool will result in immediate suspension from the pool facility.
Noprofanity, unruliness, abusive behavior, jumping on others and/or dunking, running, throwing people in the pool, climbing or sitting on the metal or wooden railings.
No diving is allowed in less than five feet of water.
No: smoking, pets, bikes, glass containers, alcoholic beverages, drugs, tobacco, or persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are permitted on the pool grounds.
Loitering is not permitted on the pool grounds or in the surrounding Park area. Patrons should remain in the pool grounds after registering and refrain from making unnecessary visits to the parking area.
The pool management is not responsible for the loss or theft of any personal belongings.
The Pool will be cleared at the first sign of thunder or lightning. Swimming will not be allowed again until 30 minutes have passed since the last sign of lightning or thunder.
Family Members are recognized as those individuals living under the same roof.
Children who are 2 and younger, on or before 5/31, shall be included on a family pass but will not be charged as an "additional" family member.
All Season Passes must be paid in full prior to being issued.
Please place trash, gum, etc. in the trash cans provided for your convenience.
Expulsion from the Pool:
Any Patron not observing these policies and rules may be expelled from the pool and pool grounds. Expulsion will be at the discretion of the pool staff. Any patron asked to leave who acts disrespectfully to a pool staff member may be suspended for an extended period. Severe infractions or gross disrespect to pool staff or other patrons may result in permanent expulsion from the pool and Crozet Park. Persons permanently expelled from the facilities will be trespassing if found on Park grounds. Any patron refusing to leave upon request will be charged with trespassing. Any patron who is expelled from the pool will be required to meet with the pool manager and/or the Claudius Crozet Pool Committee before being allowed back into the pool and pool grounds. Refunds will not be considered.
